FlyAround — Flight Tracking & Management
The complete operations platform for Microsoft Flight Simulator pilots who want a real airline experience.
What is FlyAround?
FlyAround is a flight tracking and management platform for Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane pilots. It runs as a desktop application — on Windows, macOS and Linux — alongside your simulator, connecting directly to your flight session to track and enrich every flight you make.
Whether you fly solo or as part of a virtual airline community, FlyAround transforms your simulator sessions into a structured, data-rich airline operation — from pre-flight planning through touchdown and debrief.
Key Features
Flight Planning & Dispatch
Plan flights with a step-by-step Dispatcher Wizard. Define your route, select your aircraft, configure your passenger or cargo payload, and generate a full Operational Flight Plan (OFP) — with optional SimBrief integration.
Real-Time Flight Tracking
FlyAround connects to MSFS in real time and automatically detects every flight phase — pushback, takeoff, cruise, descent, and landing. Landing reports capture your descent rate, G-force, and wind at touchdown.
Hangar & Fleet Management
Manage your entire virtual fleet. Add aircraft by airframe type, airline livery, and tail number. View per-aircraft statistics, route history, and a map of every route you have flown with that aircraft.
Logbook
Every completed flight is automatically saved to your personal Logbook with duration, distance, fuel burn, landing rate, and a full flight report — including the route path map and OFP document.
Live Map
See all active FlyAround flights worldwide on a real-time interactive map. Share a link to your own live flight with friends or your audience at flyon.me.
Flight Scheduling & Calendar
Schedule flights in advance and coordinate with other pilots using the built-in Calendar. Create group flight events, accept invitations from other pilots, and associate calendar events with full OFPs.
Virtual First Officer & Crew Voices
A virtual FO handles lights, cabin signs, APU, spoilers and flaps through every flight phase, with spoken cockpit callouts — and the AI Voice Experience gives your captain and cabin crew lifelike voices, with announcements in the airline’s home language.
ATC Communications
A fully voiced ATC conversation through every phase of flight — IFR clearance, pushback, taxi, takeoff, en-route hand-offs, and an automatic arrival chain down to the landing clearance. Talk to ATC with your own voice using push-to-talk.
AI Assistant
The FlyAround AI Assistant is a floating in-app chat bot that answers aviation questions, provides real-time weather (METAR), assists with flight planning, and guides you through app features — typed, or spoken via push-to-talk.
Live Streaming
Broadcast your flight live to YouTube and Twitch — FlyAround drives OBS for you, with a dedicated streaming overlay HUD, stream planning from the Calendar, and highlight markers on your route.
