How do I add an airplane to my fleet / hangar?

  1. Open Hangar from the main navigation menu
  2. Click “Add Aircraft”
  3. Enter:
    • Airframe — Aircraft type (e.g., B737, A320)
    • Airline — Livery/airline
    • Tail Number — Registration (e.g., N12345, G-ABCD)
  4. Save

The aircraft will appear in your Hangar and be available when dispatching a new flight.


Do I need to add an aircraft before my first flight?

Yes. The Dispatcher Wizard requires you to select an aircraft in Step 2. If the Hangar is empty, add at least one aircraft first.


Can I have multiple aircraft in my fleet?

Yes. There is no limit to the number of aircraft in your Hangar. Many pilots maintain a fleet across different aircraft types and airline liveries.


How do I search for a specific aircraft in my hangar?

Use the Search box at the top of the Hangar page. Search by:

  • Aircraft type code (e.g., “B737”, “A320”)
  • Airline name or IATA code
  • Tail number / registration

What is the “Loaded Aircraft” filter?

The Loaded Aircraft toggle shows only the aircraft currently loaded in your simulator. Useful for large fleets when you want to quickly find what’s ready to fly.


How do I view an aircraft’s flight history?

Click the aircraft card in the Hangar to open the Aircraft Detail View:

  • A map of all routes flown with this aircraft
  • The 5 most recent flights (callsign, route, date)
  • Total flights and total flight hours

How do I delete an aircraft from my fleet?

Open the Aircraft Detail View → click Delete Aircraft → confirm.

Deleting an aircraft does not delete your Logbook entries — flight history is preserved.


What do I do if the wrong livery image is showing?

The aircraft image is determined by the airline and airframe codes you entered. Verify these are correct. If they look right and the image is still wrong, contact FlyAround support.


Can I have the same aircraft type with different liveries?

Yes. Each Hangar entry is a distinct aircraft defined by its airframe, airline, and tail number. You can have multiple B737 entries with different airline colors.


Why isn’t my aircraft showing up in the Dispatcher?

  1. Confirm the aircraft exists in the Hangar
  2. Check the “Loaded Aircraft” toggle is not filtering it out
  3. Try Refresh in the Hangar to reload fleet data
  4. Confirm your account is not in a limited state
