What is FlyAround?
FlyAround is a virtual airline logistics management platform for flight simulators. It runs as a Windows desktop app alongside your simulator and adds a full airline operations layer: flight planning, cargo/passenger loading, real-time position tracking, flight logging, and the live map.
Who is FlyAround for?
FlyAround is designed for flight simulation enthusiasts who want more structure and realism. It suits:

- Streamers who want a live HUD overlay for their audience
Does FlyAround work with any aircraft add-on?
Yes. FlyAround works with any aircraft loaded in your simulator. You register your aircraft in the Hangar using the airframe type, airline livery, and tail number — it does not need to match a specific add-on package.
Do I need to be online to use FlyAround?
Yes. FlyAround requires an active internet connection for authentication, flight data sync, OFP generation, and the live map. The simulator itself can run offline, but FlyAround’s tracking and logging features require connectivity.
What simulator is supported?
FlyAround supports Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) and X-Plane 11 and 12. The app communicates with your simulator in real time via a local backend service.
Is FlyAround free?
Yes. FlyAround Community is always free and includes the core flight-ops toolkit — flight dispatch, real-time tracking, logbook, hangar, and the live map.

How do I update FlyAround?
FlyAround checks for new versions automatically on launch. If an update is available, a notification appears with release notes and a download link.
Can I use FlyAround while streaming?
Yes. Configure the streaming overlay under Settings → Overlay and capture the overlay URL as a browser source in OBS or Streamlabs. The overlay displays your live flight data for viewers.
